Every year a large number of adults and children are unnecessarily injured and even killed as a result of accidents in the home or in the garden. In the following sections we explain how to avoid some of these situations.

If you are the parent or care giver follow these tips to reduce the chances of choking. At Mealtime * Insist that children eat at the table, or at least sitting down. Preventing fire and burns

A fire can start in many areas of your home. Once started, it can very easily rage out of control. Prevent fire before it starts by avoiding the following hazards: Smoking Most deaths in home fires are caused by careless smoking. Someone falls asleep in bed with a lit cigarette.
