Caring for your home

It is well accepted that many of the choices and actions related to our homes impact severely on the natural environment. From building homes, to decorating our homes, to cleaning our homes, the activity of human living is rapidly stripping the earth of resources. However, most of our everyday practices in the home can be done in a way which is more sustainable.

There are many ways how we can reduce our negative impact on the environment whilst caring for our home. Our everyday actions can make a real contribution to a healthier Earth... for current and future generations. This can be done in various ways.

Regular cleaning

Whereas no one can argue on the importance of hygiene, the quantity and choice of cleaning products used in the home has definitely reached excessive amounts to the detriment of our health, our pockets and the environment. Biodegradability of detergents

Biodegradability is the capability of material to decompose over time as a result of biological activity; more specifically – a substance’s ability to be broken down by microorganisms.
