The Water Services Corporation (WSC) is the only provider of sewerage services in Malta and Gozo. Maltese domestic, commercial and industrial consumers are connected to the main sewerage public network by gravity through a lateral connection. Applications for a sewerage service are made when planning applications are submitted to the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA).
